72 @ Artomatic Frederick

72 Film Fest will be screening past entries during Artomatic Frederick!
The event takes place in Frederick from September 28th-November 6th 2011.

What is Artomatic@Frederick?

Artomatic@Frederick is an independently organized and licensed Artomatic® event headed by volunteers. The program is designed to create community, generate an audience for the arts and expand economic development. All this is done by transforming available space into an unjuried venue featuring the creative works of hundreds of local artists in an annual 5 week event. This diverse venue  includes the visual arts, theater, music, and poetry.

Submit your films for the rotation!

We are also looking to screen feature films and shorts made by Frederick area filmmakers.  If you have a short you would like to put into rotation, or a feature you would like to schedule screening, use the form below.

We will be accepting films in digital file format only.

Attention 72 Film Fest Filmmakers: If you would prefer to NOT have your previous 72 Film Fest entry in rotation, please contact us.

Tentative Schedule

September 28th-October 9th
All the winning entries from the first five years of 72 Film Fest will be screening in rotation leading up to the 72 Film Fest 2011 at Weinberg Center on October 7th and 8th.
October 10th-October 16th
All of the finalists that did not win awards from the first five years of 72 Film Fest will be screening in rotation.
October 17th -October 26rd
Shorts and features from around the Frederick area, and by Frederick natives.
October 27th-October 31st
To celebrate Halloween – Horror, suspense and dark short films made around Frederick and by Frederick natives will screen in rotation.
November 1st – 5th
