Greetings! Happy 2011.

1) Redesign!

You may have noticed our redesign. It’s still in progress.
We are adding an interactive section to the site at the top of the front page: Around Town. There are a lot of Film related events around town and we would love to help get the word out.

Got info, send it our way.
Casting a movie, screening a movie, shooting a movie? Send it our way.
We are restricting it to areas inside and surrounding Frederick County AND any news past teams have (regardless of location).

Want to see what the filmmaking community is up to? Check back often.

2) Dates.

We will be announcing our 2011 dates (as well as our very early bird registration dates) during our block in Frederick Film Festival (F3) on March 26th. Our 72 @ F3 Schedule has just been announced.

3) Want to be in a 72 Promo?

We are casting for 72 Film Fest 2011 Promos to be shot in early April.

Roles: Female 25-35 years old. Male 25-35 years old.
Email staff at 72fest.com with your headshot and online clips if any.

Past talent that have starred in 72 Film Fest promos have gone on to: Hollywood, Win Oscars, Manage at Burger King, and even star in more 72 Film Fest Promos.*

* Only 2 of these are true.

4) Theme:

Our 2011 Theme has been locked down for almost 6 months now, and we will begin to reveal portions of it on this website, throughout the city, all over the friggin web, and where-ever we sleepwalk.
